Cookie policy

1. Current position

The OCHRE website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how its pages are used. No advertising cookies or advertising pixels are used, and no commercial profiling is carried out.

These cookies are only activated if you accept them. Until then, the tool is not loaded and no data is sent. You can accept or decline with equal ease from the initial notice and change your decision at any time under “Cookie preferences” in the footer. When consent is withdrawn, measurement stops and the _ga and _ga_\* cookies are deleted.

Cookies used: _ga and _ga_\* (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), to distinguish visits for statistical purposes, lasting up to 2 years in line with the default Google Analytics 4 duration.

Campaign attribution: if you accept analytics and arrive from a recognised OCHRE campaign, we store the campaign source, medium and name in your browser, for this tab only, to associate them with analytics. After more than 30 minutes of inactivity, this information is discarded at the next check (the browser cannot delete it automatically while the page is closed or inactive). It is deleted when you withdraw consent. Advertising measurement: not currently active; the site does not load any advertising tool, and this policy will be updated before any such tool is enabled.

2. Strictly necessary technologies

Where essential, the website’s technical infrastructure may use temporary mechanisms that are strictly necessary for security, content delivery, load balancing or to remember a choice specifically requested by the user, such as language or your own decision about analytics. These mechanisms are not used to track browsing for commercial purposes and, when limited to providing the requested service, do not require consent.

3. Retention, settings and international transfers

Event and user data retention in Google Analytics 4 is set to 2 months. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are switched off. IP addresses are handled in line with standard Google Analytics 4 behaviour to derive an approximate location and are not retained as data accessible in reports.

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on the applicable contractual safeguards offered by Google, including the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. If other non-essential cookies or similar technologies are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested before they are activated, through a mechanism that makes acceptance and refusal equally easy.

4. Browser controls

You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary mechanisms may affect certain technical functions of the website.
